Canada part one. Culture, Living conditions and values and why they speak English

Culture.
Canada is being characterized as a multicultural country. Through Canada's history the culture has been influenced by European immigration. It's especially affected by French and British culture.
When it comes to sports, Canada has a wide selection. You have hockey, lacrosse, baseball and many more. A known hockey player from Canada is Joe Thornton.

Living conditions and values.
The living condition for most Canadians are good. They get to enjoy life, they are well educated and with good jobs. As any other country, Canada has it's more poor areas where life is a little more rough for the ones who live there.
Canada highly values freedom and respect for others. They believe it's better to be to a little too polite than to not be. Canadians are being looked at as a kind and open people. That's exactly how they want it to be.

Why do they speak English?
For a really long time, Canada was colonized by both England and France. Most of the Canadians today are decedents of the British colonies.
